“Avoid at all costs – predatory upselling and dishonest hidden fees. ​Be extremely careful with this salon. Every single visit, they aggressively pressure you to buy expensive packages. To make matters worse, they try to scare you by claiming your nails have "issues" like fungus or severe cracks, only to pitch overpriced, unnecessary fixes on the spot. ​Their billing practices are completely deceptive. Even if you purchase an all-inclusive package that explicitly covers soak-off, filing, and color, they will look for excuses to tack on extra fees. In my case, they accused me of getting my nails done elsewhere just to charge an extra $40 for a soak-off—even though the removal process makes no difference to them regardless. ​Go somewhere that actually is genuine in providing good service instead of finding ways to scam you of more money. You just lost a loyal customer.”

“Expensive no-care no-service 15 minute pedicure quick service with an upsold synced manicure included barely nothing at all. No cleaning just using a nail file for 6 minutes .. done, twice charged additionally for men service. Could have done it myself in terms of result. Not recommended at all.”

“Had very very bad experience at Picota in Jewel. All my nails are badly damaged now after the gel nail application. Both toe nails are split opened and I went back to them to feedback and asked what had happened. They told me that is due to bacteria infection because of the gel nail polish. They said I have to pay to get it treated there. What kind of service is this? They damaged my nails with super harsh chemicals yet expect me to pay further. We spent more than $2000 on mani and pedi for 3 pax and this is the kind of service in return. Asked for their manager’s contact and they said they don’t have! They said just feedback to customer service on their website! Very unprofessional and unreliable! To all out there, pls don’t visit this brand if u can.”
