“Would give zero stars if possible. Multiple Pixie Nail Spa outlets, same issue: non‑stop upselling at the end of every gel mani‑pedi, different “promotions” each time, and no respect for a customer’s choice to stop a package. Staff are clearly under sales pressure; pricing feels non‑transparent. Tourists and new residents—be very careful before committing to any package here. I was told my treatment would only take 1 hour because I was trying to get into another appt, only to realise I’ve been “stalled” as they want me to listen to the sales pitch. Is this right??”

“Convenient location and consistent service over the years I have come here. I like that they have many options and available treatments in a comfortable setting. They are not the cheapest place, but have been happy with the quality of my manicures and pedicures so far. There is some little bit of upselling (not unlike other places) but it's never too pushy or aggressive, and there is absolutely no awkwardness if you say no. All in all, I'm a happy customer and will continue to come here. (Maisel is my favourite nail stylist). Update: Things have changed - quality of service is still good, but a lot more hard selling now which does not make it a relaxing experience.”

“Very disappointing experience. My friend, who was visiting Singapore as a tourist, was charged more than six times what we believed was a reasonable price. If you search their low reviews and you will see this misleading and overcharging practice is experienced by many others. The business did not clearly explain the full cost before starting the service, and the additional charges were not adequately disclosed in advance. Businesses should provide clear, upfront pricing and obtain customers’ informed agreement before adding extra charges. I will be reporting this matter with the relevant authorities and request a review of the business’s pricing practices.”
