“I went to this salon for one of the simplest beauty services possible—to have my eyebrows tinted to match my natural hair roots, which are a dark, cool blonde. I explained exactly what I wanted. Instead of tinting them, the technician bleached my eyebrows until they were almost white and then told me the service was finished. At no point had I asked for my eyebrows to be bleached. I have never bleached my eyebrows in my life. I left looking ridiculous, with eyebrows much lighter than my hair—the exact opposite of what I had requested. When I told them this was not what I had asked for and asked them to fix it by tinting my eyebrows to the dark cool blonde shade I originally requested (or even black, since they clearly couldn’t achieve the correct colour), I was shocked to be told that I would have to pay the full price again for the correction. They expected me to pay a second time to fix a mistake that was entirely their own. To make matters worse, no one even apologised. I refused to pay again for their incompetence, so I went home, bought eyebrow tint, and corrected the colour myself. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. The bleaching completely dried out my eyebrow hairs, leaving them damaged and curly. It took me almost a full year of using oils, conditioners, and other treatments before my eyebrows finally recovered. The entire experience was unacceptable. A basic eyebrow tint turned into damaged brows, months of recovery, and a business that refused to take any responsibility for its own mistake while trying to charge me even more to correct it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy”

No consultation provided re the brow shape before she started and the actual threading and tweezing was much more painful compared to my previous experiences. I thought it looked good but after a closer look I realised the lady made my eyebrows too thin on the end where i specifically told her i like thick eyebrows and to do just a little bit, and showed her a reference pic of the shape i like, she nodded her head but i do not believe she intended to give any consultation which is bizarre to me. Note to research the eyebrow therapist. I even said yi dian dian in Chinese because she couldn't really speak english. She pretended she knew what I was talking about and went ahead. Will not go again.”

“I came in for a simple eyebrow threading and left completely mortified. My senior therapist was Nancy. The first problem? Nobody bothered to inform me BEFORE my appointment that she speaks Mandarin only. I only speak English. How is this acceptable? A heads-up when booking is the bare minimum. I asked for symmetry. Basic. One job. What I got was my right eyebrow threaded dramatically more than the left. They are visibly, embarrassingly uneven. I now have to fill them in heavily every single day just to look presentable enough to go outside. Browhaus Ion, you assigned me a therapist with a language barrier and didn’t disclose it, and then she botched the one thing I paid you to do. No apology, no accountability, nothing. I will never return. Ever. Don’t waste your time or money here.”
