“I visited on 30 Sep 2026 and was assigned to manicurist May, who was available at the time. Even though she wasn't attending to any other customer, I waited almost 25 minutes for her to get ready and start. From removing my existing gel manicure to finishing the new cat eye design, this was the worst manicure result I've had. The nails came out uneven and thicker than expected, and the cat eye magnetic effect was poorly done. I found her work not meticulous or detailed, and her attitude came across as poor and inattentive. During the session, I also noticed the cat eye price tag had been changed to $58 from $38. That is a very high add-on charge for cat eye compared with other salons I've been to, and the change in price was not explained. When I asked May how come the price was $38 now altered to $58, she replied, price changed more than a mth ago and due to high rental have to increase price. Two mths ago, I was hard sell into taking up a package that can 'pay for cat eye manicure charge'. However that doesn't mean my package entitled to 'no price increased'. Hence, I felt it's unfair to hard sell to customers and then increase price suddenly. I hope management can look into service standards, appointment readiness, and price transparency.”

“Had a classic gel manicure and pedicure. Kathy did my pedicure and she was super nice and careful. She cleaned my nails beautifully and even helped fix up my manicure, which wasn’t done very well by another staff member. Really appreciate Kathy’s effort! ❤️ The only downside was the hard selling, which felt a bit uncomfortable.”

“Feedback Regarding Hard-Selling and Package Promotion I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience with the staff at Nail20. I felt that the staff was being quite pushy when promoting their packages. I understand that recommending packages and promotions is part of the service, but I felt uncomfortable when I was repeatedly encouraged to purchase a package despite not showing interest. As a customer, I would prefer to be informed about the available packages once, and then be given the space to decide for myself. Repeatedly persuading customers to sign up can make the experience feel more like a sales process rather than a relaxing nail service. I hope the management can look into this and remind staff to avoid excessive hard-selling. A friendly recommendation is perfectly fine, but customers should not feel pressured or insisted upon to make a purchase. I am sharing this feedback because I believe the customer experience can be improved, especially for customers who may want to return for future services.”

“Very friendly and kind staff and did my daughter’s nails really well. Would come back definitely and the premium price was definitely worth it. Mostly expensive because of the extensions as she has to keep her nails short for piano but she was able to get her nails exactly the way she wanted and is very happy with it.”
