Every time I called to book an appointment for a classic mani-pedi, the lady on the phone would say they were fully booked. But whenever I walked into the shop, it was completely empty—not a single customer. The same thing happened several times. Could this have been an internal issue with a staff member?”

“Disappointed on service honored pertains to CNY promotion in 2023. N20 Nail Spa has been promoting its services during CNY years by inducing customers with attractive CNY vouchers yearly with a condition-locking 1 nail servicing package. Similarly, I approached N20 outlet branch manager Ying of Plaza Singapore in the previous year. This year, she asked me to commit to a package of more than SGD3000 and can enjoy 2 CNY vouchers to be purchased at 46 per voucher on a complete set of Gelish manicures and pedicures and throwing in some freebies at the same time. However, after seriously considering that I still have a credit balance outstanding amount near 4k with N20, I decided to purchase 1 package amounting to SGD1k. This will allow me to enjoy purchasing 1 CNY voucher. This package was purchased through Jia Jia. She mentioned a surcharge on CNY eve on their services and advised me to do the service a few days before CNY eve to avoid the surcharge. Yesterday 13 Jan 2023, I walked to N20 Plaza Singapore to book my CNY appointment for Gelish Manicure and Pedicure using the CNY voucher. I was told by the Branch Manager there were surcharges involved. I was shocked as this was not said to me as the CNY voucher will require me to do manicure and pedicure treatment with a surcharge during the CNY period. As Branch Manager of Plaza Singapore, Ying reacted very unethically; her behavior lacked moral principles; she was unwilling to adhere to proper rules of conduct and kept blaming fellow colleagues and repeating the statement, "Don't know how " what she sold you the voucher and package. Such character and behavior do not fit to be Branch Manager to lead a team. This spoiled the image of N20. As Branch Manager, she should front for team members or solve the problem instead of pushing the blame on fellow colleagues. When she asked me to commit to a more 3k package with 2 CNY vouchers allowable to be purchased, she did not mention there is surcharge on 2 CNY vouchers when consumers during the CNY period. This never happened in previous years as well. Hence there is no ground basis to support her argument statement. I am very pissed with such behavior of such a Branch Manager in the service line. And I do not hope to see her again when I go to the outlet for service. Appreciate the boss of N20 should look into this seriously.”

“It is with much disappointment that I made up my mind not to sign up anymore package with N20 at Plaza Sin after 5 years. I remembered how good and busy their business was at that time but they never failed to accept my last minute booking unlike for past months, I have been turned off a few times and advised to book on other days as they did not have enough staffs. Today , I was supposed to have booked for my Mani and Pedi (final session) based on my records with them which they do the recording manually on the cards. When I reached, the shop was empty with no customer but after that 2 staffs came out from the pantry to attend to me. I was told that I was left with only 1 mani session and no more pedi session ! The explanation was that their previous colleague had transferred the old records wrongly over to a new card and I could see some scribbling and correction tape covered over dunno what when they showed it to me. They still insisted I was left with only 1 mani session and well, the best thing was they claimed that my pedi was not done by them and refused to soak-off for me unless i paid them $20 for the soak-off service ! 1 of the staff even argued that my last pedi session with them was done in Oct last year and "cannot be possible to last till today" ! This really made me mad as this staff who told me this, said that she only did for me my pedi the previous time but not pedi. She continued to argue with me while she checked through the records again then suddenly said she read it wrongly and will do the soak-off for my pedi accordingly instead. It was a very horrible visit and thank God I am not going back to them after 5 years! What i would like to add on is that, there were many really nice staffs working there back then and I even bought 8 -10 drinks for them when I visited. Now that all the good staffs have left leaving mostly the argumentative and dishonest ones. I realised there were some customers shared about their bad encouters just before my today's visit ! I'm definitely not signing up for their package again!”
