Lash lift or lash extensions? What to know before you book

Both options make your lashes look fuller and more defined, but they work differently and ask different things of you afterwards.

Lash lift

A lift curls your own lashes and is usually paired with a tint. It is low maintenance, typically lasts around six weeks, and works well if you like a natural look and a short morning routine.

Lash extensions

Extensions add individual synthetic lashes to your own. They give more volume and length, but need regular infills and gentle aftercare. They suit you if you enjoy a dramatic look and do not mind the upkeep.

Ask about patch tests

A good studio will talk through allergies and aftercare, and may suggest a patch test. That is a green flag.
