How to choose a nail salon you will actually go back to
18 Sept 2026 · 4 min read

A good nail salon is part skill, part trust. Before you book, spend two minutes on the checks below and you will avoid most of the usual regrets.
Read the newest reviews first
Ratings drift. A studio that was great two years ago may have changed hands or staff. Sort by newest and look for names, specific services and how the owner responds when something goes wrong.
Look for a real price list
Studios that show prices up front tend to be clearer about add-ons like soak-off, nail art and extensions. If a price is missing, ask before you sit down.
Check the basics
Fresh files and buffers for each client, tools stored clean, and a tidy station. You can usually tell from the photos and from what past customers mention.
