“​I used to be a loyal member here for 2–3 years and absolutely loved this place, so I came back today with fond memories. Sadly, my experience today was a huge disappointment. I'm not sure if management has changed, but the overall maintenance and cleanliness have severely degraded: ​Shower facilities: Multiple water switches and showerheads were broken. The stools felt sticky and uncomfortable to sit on, giving a strong impression of poor hygiene. ​Pool area: The tiles and wall surfaces around several hot spring pools were visibly damaged, chipped, and corroded. ​Water quality issue: Most concerning of all, after soaking, I realized the water had an overwhelming chemical/chlorine smell. My entire body reeked of strong disinfectant afterward, which is unacceptable for an authentic onsen experience. ​Hygiene, clean thermal water, and proper maintenance are the absolute basic requirements for any onsen. If management fails to maintain even these fundamentals, it is really sad to say that this once wonderful Japanese onsen won't last long. Extremely disappointed and won't be returning anytime.”
