“Updated after the response from the salon: I never said “all the way”. I said “short”. I know what an express manicure is and indeed the woman messed with the sides of my nails (as evidenced in the photo). I brought up the disappointment during check out however nothing was done— it is only when my review is made public that you owe an apology or try to explain anything. The worst manicure and pedicure I have ever gotten. The nail techs are extremely aggressive and caused quite a bit of pain and damage. Gel pedicure was overpriced and done poorly. The feet soaking stations are absolutely disgusting and insanitary— you can see mildew in the bowl around the drain. I got an express manicure and the woman cut my nails so short that there was no white left, absolutely butchered the area around my nails, and left my hands looking much worse than when I came in as I was just in need of a quick touch up buff and shine. Despicable salon.”

“Popped in to The Nailist for a manicure and was not disappointed. Nina was efficient and kind, checking to see how I wanted my nails cut and shaped as I had bitten them quite low. She copied the design I’d chosen carefully and was friendly and professional. I would definitely go back to The Nailist and would recommend Nina.”

“Used to come here all the time, but definitely won’t in the future. Wanted to get my nails done on a Sunday afternoon and thought i would try to walk in. There were two customers and three workers in the store, so I politely asked if they could do my nails. I was so shocked to be completely and deliberately ignored. After asking for the third time and getting quite uncomfortable, a rude worker told me to go to another salon without even making eye contact! I was extremely disappointed and left, after my friendly questions about where the other salon is, were ignored. Do yourself a favour and go to the salon on the other side of the road.”
