“Jia hui was very helpful and attentive to details. Before we started, we discussed the design extensively and she doublechecked my intention for the design every step of the way. The nails turned out great! However, you may want to exercise some caution in confirming the pricing with this establishment. It was not made known to me before my appointment that i needed to pay additional amounts on top of what was clearly stated in the menu (online and printed out in the shop). So while i had the expectation that i would be paying 75 or 85 for a classic gel mani, i was shocked that i was charged an additional 55 for nail design. Furthermore, the owner was not great at conflict resolution and became very emotional. When i told her that i did not see a quotation in our whatsapp exchange leading up to the appointment booking, she insisted that she had given a quotation and i had disappearing messages turned on in bad faith. The onus should be on the business to clearly state the pricing when i was booking the appointment, especially since the menu did not state that there will be additional charges for nail art. The owner then started guilt-tripping me by saying, how could i not pay the additional charge after her employee's hard work. But is it not your responsibility as a business owner to make sure the customer knows how much they are paying, and to make sure your employees are fairly compensated? The owner then started complaining that it was not fair for me to expect the classic gel mani to be inclusive of nail art, and that other establishments who do include it are "spoiling market". Again, why is it the customer's responsibility to deal with this problem? Lastly, when i tried to suggest that the owner let customers know the pricing more clearly in the future, she did not take my feedback well at all and sarcastically remarked "thanks for your kind words". Even if you are a small business, this fact does not put you on a moral high ground. Being a small business does not make it more acceptable to make your customers deal with the consequences of your poor business practices.”

“もう1年以上、毎月ハンドジェルネイルをお願いしています。 ハンドペイントのアートの素晴らしさもちろんですが、爪の形も長さ&ジェルの厚みもとても綺麗で、一度もがっかりしたことがありません。これからも通いたいです。”

“What I really appreciated was Anita’s detailed explanation and recommendation of the right nail length/shape. She also recommended the shade that would suit my skin tone.”

“Darlings, i've found it. And let’s be clear: this is a completely spontaneous rave. excellence deserves to be celebrated. most salons treat you like a number on a conveyor belt or they are too chatty. Lazy Cat Nails is cosy and homely but the equipment is quite impressively up-to-date and everything is pristine. But the real stars are Jia Hui and Anita. Their attention to detail is something I haven't seen in an age. They don't just "do" your nails; they treat them with a level of pride and genuine TLC that has become rare. I haven't had my cuticles shaped with such exquisite precision or my nails sculpted with such care. A massive shout out to the team for remembering that beauty & professionalism isn't a race.”

“Don’t understand where do they get all the 5 stars reviews… This place is for appointment only but the quality of the work does not match the price they charged. The nail polish they use are definitely at the cheapest quality - my painted nails couldn’t even last for a day, and the top coating keeps peeling off (see the two photos). The girl who did my nails also did not seem to be an employee there, she miscalculated the price charged for the service and I had to remind her on the overcharge. Not recommend this place and will not go back for sure.”
