“I previously did extensions at another nail shop but decided to look for somewhere closer for removal. I chose this shop because the reviews were better than the other options nearby, but unfortunately, the experience wasn’t entirely great. I opted for gel extension removal, first-timer classic gel, and a top-up for nail art. The nail tech assigned to me wasn’t particularly friendly, mainly because of the way she spoke to me. When she said the nails were done, I noticed two nails had obvious gaps and uneven areas at the tips (didn’t manage to take a photo then), which looked like they were already there from the earlier layers and simply covered with the final transparent coat. I asked for them to be redone, but afterwards, those two nails had a noticeably thicker coating compared to the rest. Some of the other nails also weren’t properly flat and had visible grooves. One had a “scratch line” under the final coating. Overall, the finishing was quite uneven, and unfortunately, it gave me the impression that the nail tech either lacked experience or didn’t put much care into the work.”
