“Extremely disappointing experience, not worth the price My mum booked me a manicure and pedicure here because she wanted me to have beautiful nails for my engagement. She specifically chose this salon hoping that given the reputation, the quality and service would be excellent. As they quote, best nail spa, but that was not the case. When we arrived, we were told that extensions would be an additional $120 because the design I had chosen would look better on longer nails. We went ahead with it, and with the manicure, pedicure, extensions, gel designs, 3D designs and additional top coats/products that were recommended to supposedly help the nails last longer, the total came to $490+. Unfortunately, just 3 days later, one of my nails completely popped off. What was especially concerning was that the nail came off cleanly with no glue residue whatsoever. I have had regular gel manicures costing $20+ that easily last me at least two weeks, so for a $490 set to have a nail come off after only three days was extremely disappointing. There were also several quality issues during the appointment. The nails were not shaped evenly, one thumb was noticeably larger than the other. The two ladies working on each hand also seemed to have very different interpretations of the design I had requested and did not appear to communicate with each other. I had to step in and ask for changes because the two hands were starting to look like different designs. On top of that, I noticed that the bottom of the extensions on one hand had not even been buffed. Given that one of the nails later popped off cleanly, I am concerned that the preparation may not have been done properly. What disappointed me even more was how the situation was handled afterwards. When my mum approached the salon about the nail coming off after only three days, there was no offer of a partial refund or any meaningful solution. The only solution offered was essentially to attach the nail back on, despite the fact that the original application had already failed after just three days. I understand that nail designs and extensions can sometimes have issues, but for $490, I expected much better workmanship, consistency and customer service. This was an important occasion for me, and it was really upsetting to have this happen so soon after my mum spent such a significant amount on the set. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the price at all, and I left feeling that the quality and service were not worth what she paid for. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and reviews both their application process and how they handle customers when something goes wrong.”

“I brought my daughter here for mani pedi to get her nails done for her engagement. They quoted me $120 for nail extensions another $120 for nail art, separately several additional costs for some hard top coats, etc and the total came to $492. They promised the nails would last a month or so.. unfortunately we had it done on 25/9 and one of the nail extensions completely came off on 28/9 - you can see from the pictures attached that it cleanly fell off her nail bed. For something that costs almost $500 and to last only 3 days is totally ridiculous. I went back to the outlet to feedback but the 2 Filipina ladies were totally unhelpful and more intent on doing mani for themselves as the shop was empty of customers. Very unprofessional behaviour.”
