“I signed on for 5 sessions of tattoo removal. They showed me pictures of others who had 5 sessions and it looked like more than 70% to 80% of their tattoo had been removed. During my 2nd session, I told the doctor that it didn't seem like there were much changes from the 1st session. He got defensive and told me to manage my expectations. He mentioned that I can expect up to 40% of fading (should have mentioned this earlier). He did mention that I needed 10 sessions if I wanted complete removal. But I wasn't expecting 100%. I was simply expecting somewhat close (not even very close) to the pictures they showed. And my tattoo is not coloured. Only black ink and the image is an outline not shaded with ink. Anyway, perhaps it is not right to give reviews just after 2 sessions. But something that compelled me to give this review is that the doctor asked me to come back after just 5 weeks for the next laser session. If you read up(reddit, chatgpt, Google etc), check with other clinics or chat with people who have multiple tattoos removed before, the standard time mentioned by them all is 8 to 12 weeks between sessions. Waiting even longer months in between gives better value for money. The reason for the wait is because it takes time for the body to remove the broken up tattoo ink. Doing such frequent sessions is not going to help speed up the removal. If you are doing tattoo removals, do your due diligence and read up and ask many questions before signing up for packages. Note down what was discussed. Wish I had done that. My mistake. I will wait til my 5 sessions are up and then alter my review if necessary.”

“Oh I can't believe I haven't left a review for Sozo Clinic since completing my treatment 8 months ago! This was the second tattoo that I'm removing with them, so that already gives you an idea of the quality of their services and the proven results. This tattoo removal took 20 sessions over a span of 2.5 years, with 1 session every month on average. Every time I'm there, the service is thoughtful while being efficient. Slap on some numbing cream, I hop away to grab a coffee, come back, and the laser starts. The assistants are always so kind to provide a blanket and a little vibrating ball to distract from the pain. And they always follow up with a WhatsApp message the next day to make sure that the recovery is fine. It's such a small but sweet gesture that left a deep impression on me. Dr Justin is great at what he does, a no-nonsense, knowledgeable expert in the dermatology field. I am considering embarking on other aesthetic treatments with them, just purely on the basis of their fantastic service and the results that I've seen.”

“Dr Justin did an amazing job on my tattoo removal. Always fast, and makes sure I am super comfortable because of my low tolerance to pain. I had to stop my treatment short at 5 sessions before moving abroad, but I’ve loved the results so far. Will 100% return whenever I’m back in town”
