“My Honest Experience at Become Aesthetic – Serious Concerns About Sales Practices, Customer Service and Treatment Management I would like to highlight several concerns regarding my experiences at Become Aesthetic. While I understand that aesthetic clinics are businesses, I believe there should be a clear distinction between recommending treatments and aggressively selling them. Unfortunately, my experiences have left me questioning the clinic's customer service standards, professionalism and treatment management. 1. Aggressive Upselling of Unnecessary Treatments One of my biggest concerns is the constant hard selling of treatments and products that customers may not necessarily need. There seems to be a persistent push to purchase PDRN and other treatments, including procedures that may potentially affect facial fat. Aesthetic treatments should be recommended based on a customer's actual needs, skin condition and suitability, rather than being driven by sales targets. Customers should also be given sufficient information about the potential risks and side effects before making any decisions. 2. Constant Pressure to Purchase More Packages Another major concern is the clinic's aggressive approach to selling treatment packages. Even after signing up for a package, customers may find themselves being told during their next visit that their remaining treatment sessions are running low. This is often followed by another round of hard selling to persuade them to purchase yet another package. It makes me wonder whether the clinic is genuinely prioritising customers' treatment needs or simply focusing on getting them to spend more money. What is the point of purchasing a package if customers are constantly pressured to buy another one before they can even enjoy the treatments they have already paid for? 3. Noticeable Deterioration in Customer Service After Rejecting Additional Packages This is another particularly disappointing aspect of my experience. After purchasing a package, I noticed that the level of customer service seemed to change when I declined additional treatments or packages. Previously, staff would offer drinks and provide a more welcoming experience. However, after I rejected further purchases, I noticed that these gestures became less frequent, and my waiting times sometimes seemed considerably longer. I cannot definitively establish whether this change was intentional, but the difference in my experience has been noticeable enough to raise concerns. Should customers really have to keep purchasing packages to receive the same level of service? Is good customer service now conditional on how much money a customer is willing to spend? Customers who decline additional treatments should still receive the same level of courtesy, attention and professionalism as those who agree to purchase them.”

“Have been coming to Become Clinic for about two years. Have seen gradual improvement to my skin condition.”

“Silvia has been very supportive in obtaining treatment and patience in explaining the various treatments. Dr Chloe has also been helping me in my skin recovery.”

“The brand and treatment experience started off very well. Over time and after renewal commitments to additional treatment packages, cost cutting led to a deteriorating value proposition. Little treats which enhanced the whole health and well being experience were gradually downgraded and phased out in an obvious cost reduction exercise. Recent incidents of inflexibility and lack of understanding will not be helpful for customer retention. Will be happy if I can finish utilising the existing commitments before shopping for the new brand to try out. To be fair, the doctors have largely been competent.”

“Paris Wong (assistant) and Dr Wong Wei En provided professional aesthetic advice, care and service. Highly recommendable.”
