“[4 October update: Agreed to come back to the salon to address the issue as Helen called me personally and asked her Director Lucas to attend to me at no further cost. was in the salon for about 5 hours, but to his credit, Lucas (and the staff assisting him) spent time meticulously correcting the issue. While I am still not happy with the initial service provided, the service provided following my initial review was a significant improvement, with the staff providing additional scalp care and hair treatments. From what I understood from Lucas, there were many issues that had to be fixed due to the senior stylist’s mistakes.] If I could give 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I had paid a top up for a package many years ago (when they were still located at Clementi) and had a remaining balance. Came in just to get highlights - specifically asked for a cool toned blonde highlight but the stylist gave me yellowish bleachy highlights. From the start of the process, indicated that I wanted a more senior stylist and was told “no one is available” so they would arrange a different stylist for me. Had to communicate in chinese only and made it very clear what i wanted - to even out my hair cut and to have highlights. Agreed to bleach as I thought it would even out the hair colour. Experienced immense pain from the bleach which I communicated to the stylist repeatedly, to which she replied “it’s because your scalp is so dry”. She would tell me we would wash it in ‘5 mins’ - this ended up being 20 mins of me just experiencing immense burning on my scalp. Am so glad to be rid of my package with this studio, and highly warn others that if you want to come here, don’t bother because you’ll just come out disappointed and paying an exorbitant amount for a hair colour you didn’t even ask for. By the way, the process started at 1.30pm, and only finished at 7pm. All for a result that looks nothing like what I showed. Didn’t even bother to fight it because I just wanted to be done with my remaining balance and leave the studio.”
