“It was the first time I cut my hair with a Japanese stylist there because he was the only available one. My top priority was to cover my grey root followed by trimming off the dry ends. I gestured to him that I wanted to cut 2 inches off. He nodded and asked me if I wanted to do layered. I replied a little bit. I also said I didn’t want to do rebonding because I am trying to grow my hair with natural curls. In the end, he cut a super layered hair with the top layer of my hair at least 5 inches trimmed off. The whole salon full of other mandarin/english speaking stylists watching this mishap happening but didn’t step in to help e.g. translate between him and me. It is already close to 1 month after the very unfortunate event and my hair still sucks every single morning. I bought 2 stryv hair straightener tools to style my unruly hair every morning otherwise I couldn’t step out of my house. It is a nightmare.”
