“The first time I came, the haircut was good, and the stylist was friendly. Didn't try to hard-sell anything, and just told me to come back to maintain. So I came back again and that's when I didn't have a good experience. First, the good: - It was a last minute appointment and the salon was willing to accept. - The hairstylist did make recommendations on what needed to be done. The bad: - Started trying to sell me scalp treatments when I sat down in the chair, saying my hair was frizzy and dry - All I wanted was a simple haircut, and the stylist didn't even ask me what I wanted before hard selling scalp treatment - When I finally told them what kind of hairstyle I wanted, and made it clear I didn't want their treatment, they became quite rude - Still kept trying to sell the treatment even after I rejected For 40+ SGD, I might as well go to a salon in the city centre and get a haircut - at least I don't have to deal with these sales tactics. I get that the business needs to make money - but back off when the customer says no. Not coming back again.”
